Relief from Vasomotor Symptoms: HRT is particularly effective in alleviating vasomotor symptoms of menopause, such as hot flashes and night sweats, which are among the most common and disruptive symptoms.
Prevention of Bone Loss: Estrogen is important for maintaining bone density. HRT can help prevent osteoporosis that often accelerates after menopause due to the rapid decline in estrogen levels.
Improved Mood and Cognitive Function: HRT can help manage mood swings and may aid in reducing the risk of depression during menopause. It may also have a positive impact on cognitive function.
Improved Vaginal and Sexual Health: Estrogen helps maintain the health of the vaginal tissues and urinary system. HRT can relieve vaginal dryness, discomfort during intercourse, and bladder symptoms.
Improved Sleep: Night sweats and hot flashes are common menopausal symptoms that often disrupt sleep. HRT can significantly reduce these disturbances, helping you enjoy more restful and uninterrupted sleep.
Heart Health Benefits: Early initiation of HRT, particularly within ten years of menopause onset, may help reduce the risk of heart disease.
Improved Quality of Life: By addressing multiple symptoms of menopause, HRT can significantly improve overall quality of life, including sexual satisfaction, sleep quality, and daily functioning.

I prescribe FDA approved HRT and prefer Bio-idential HRT when possible. I also prescribe non-hormonal treatments for menopause if needed. Testosterone and compounded hormones may be considered depending on the situation. All prescriptions are sent to the pharmacy of your choosing in BC.
The first step is to book a new patient visit which is 60 minutes in length. After booking an appointment, you will receive an intake form to complete that is reviewed by your practitioner before your visit. Together, we decide on your diagnosis and order any necessary testing and lab work if required.
All follow up appointments are 30min:
A follow up appointment will be booked to review the lab work and provide prescriptions (including HRT) that can be sent to your local pharmacy of choice.
A follow up is booked 3 months after you start on HRT to make adjustment if needed. If required follow up appointments are done every 3 months until you're feeling great!
Annual follow up is suggested after this for reassessment, HRT adjustments, and refills if needed
We accept clients from anywhere in British Columbia. You must be physically located in BC at the time of your appointment to receive care.
Initial Appointment (60min): $300
Follow up Appointments (30min): $150
