Hi, I'm Akemi! I’m a Nurse practitioner and Menopause Specialist.

As a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (formerly NAMS), with additional training in Advanced Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy through Worldlink Medical, I combine the best of evidence-based medicine with practical, whole-person care.

Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked with hundreds of women in their 40s and 50s who were told “everything looks normal” while still struggling with stubborn symptoms like poor sleep, weight gain, fatigue, and mood changes. What I’ve seen again and again is that you don’t have to settle for feeling this way.

That’s why I created The Perimenopause Reset - a structured, clinically guided program designed to relieve symptoms, calm inflammation, and support your long-term health. My mission is to give you credible answers, clear strategies, and the right support so you can feel like yourself again, with more energy, confidence, and clarity for the years ahead.

Do I need to be in British Columbia to join?

No, you don’t need to live in BC to join The Perimenopause Reset.


The full coaching and lifestyle program is open to women anywhere, and it’s designed to complement the care you already have in place.

Does the program include HRT or medical appointments?

No. The Perimenopause Reset is a coaching and lifestyle support program.


If you live in British Columbia and want to explore HRT or medical menopause care, you can book clinical appointments separately.

What if I’m already on HRT?

That’s great! The Perimenopause Reset complements hormone therapy by addressing the lifestyle foundations that help your hormones work better- things like nutrition, sleep, gut health, stress regulation, and metabolic balance.

If you’re in British Columbia and need support with HRT adjustments or lab testing, you’re welcome to book separate medical appointments through my NP clinic HERE. Medical care is not part of the program, but many women choose to pair the two for additional support.

If you already have an HRT provider or live outside of BC, you can bring your questions into coaching sessions so you can get the most benefit from your current therapy.

How much time will this take each week?

All videos are bite sized and no longer than 15 minutes each. Most women spend about 30min-1 hour per week watching the lessons. You will also need to put the strategies into practice to see a transformation. If you join the Live coaching calls, they run about 60 minutes each week.

I’m really busy. What if I can’t keep up with the program?

The modules are self-paced and designed for busy women. You can watch or listen on your own time, and even small changes can make a big difference. Many women tell me this program actually saves them time by cutting out all the guesswork.

Do I have to give up my favorite foods or follow a strict diet?

No. This isn’t about rigid dieting or restriction. Instead, you’ll learn how to stabilize blood sugar, calm inflammation, and nourish your body with practical strategies you can stick to long-term.

Is there a guarantee?

I can’t guarantee specific outcomes, because every woman’s body and journey are unique. What I can guarantee is that you’ll receive evidence-based education, tools, and support that go far beyond what most women ever get in standard healthcare. The results depend on how you show up, and if you commit to doing the work, you can count on seeing shifts.
